*Hello chipped nail varnish!*
Hey loves! Long time no speak! I miss writing on my blog every day! Hope you’ve all had a lovely Saturday! I met up with two friends I haven’t seen in so long today! Rosie has been away doing a ski season so I haven’t seen her since well before Christmas and Bethany lives in Leeds now so it’s hard to see each other on a regular basis. I’ve missed these girls so much, it was lovely to catch up over afternoon tea and a cocktail, we always have such a laugh! We went to The Fizzy Tarte in Bowness and it was super busy but we managed to get a table thankfully! Rosie and I had the ‘classic afternoon tea’ which was delicious! We shared a pot of tea and I also had to have one of the peach mojito’s – you should definitely try it, it’s so refreshing! Bethany just went for a sandwich because she wasn’t feeling hungry enough for afternoon tea and also a raspberry bellini! The sun finally came out too which was nice because it was pretty miserable this morning, so we didn’t get wet walking from my car, although I did get a blister on each foot from my shoes! So, so sore! Now I’m home and I’m not sure what the plan is for tonight. I think the plan is to head to Wasdale tomorrow and try to tackle Scafell Pike if the weather is good so fingers crossed for that! Speak again soon, L.
