Crinkle Crags

The beginning of our hike, over looking Great Langdale.

We parked nearby the Great Langdale National Trust Campsite and headed towards ‘Stool End Farm’ where we began the ascent up Crinkle Crag. Here I am after half an hour walking, already worn out! But would you look at that view?!

From this point we were able to see Bowfell, Great End and Scafell Pike. I didn’t realise how close we were to Wastwater from here! (My favourite place in the Lakes).

A little bit of rock climbing. I found the easier route, around the other side haha!

These two views make me feel incredible lucky to live so nearby! Seriously breathtaking!

The three of us, Josh, myself and my Dad taken with iPhone and Josh’s iPhone watch! Snazzy 😉

I noticed my camera must’ve had a dirty lens as all my photos have a ‘smudge’ in the top right hand corner, ugh!

‘Bad Step’

Hello, hello, hello! I can’t tell you how long it’s taken to go through all 167 photographs from yesterday! I’m a little too snap happy, don’t you think? Haha! This is by far my favourite walk yet. The Langdale’s is stunning and there’s beauty everywhere to be seen. It was one of the toughest, what with the strong wind and ice but we did it and I’m so happy we managed to tick another mountain off the list! I can’t believe the amazing weather we’ve had lately, I’m definitely starting to believe that Autumn is the best time of year for us here in the Lake District. Summer time here is actually very disappointing 🙁 Anyway, I hope you enjoy browsing these pictures… I’ve managed to catch a cold so I’m tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle, a cup of tea and Vicks smothered all over my nose! Night loves, L.
