Weekend

Date night

What a lovely weekend it was. We finally had our first date night in well over a year. It was a last minute decision to go out for food and drinks and after trying several places we ended up getting the last table at Bangkok 7 in Kendal. We had salt and pepper squid and moo ping (pork skewers) for starters, and both shared beef penang and goong yang (spicy prawn salad), with egg fried rice and sticky rice – my favourite! It was delicious but next time I think I’d go for a different starter or instead saved myself for a mango and sticky rice pudding, something I’ve been craving in so long.

Speaking of Thai food, we actually booked our flights to Thailand for next Easter. I’m really hoping that we can go and see our family. It’s been so long for me and time is precious. I already have so many ideas on what I’d like to do and see this time. I definitely want to visit new places and island hop in the South, learn to free dive and really just make the most of my time there because who knows when we will be back again.

Hope you enjoy these shots from the weekend, love L.
