Upcycling our bedside tables

I’ve been dying to get my hands on something to sand down and paint. Then I realised, I already had a set of matching bedside tables that my Gran salvaged years ago. One of her neighbours had thrown them out, but she saved them and painted one white for me, which I used as a bedside table when I lived with my Mum and Dad. The other she kept for herself and has been Josh’s bedside table ever since we moved in to the flat with her. I bought some black egg shell paint a month or two ago, as I was going to paint the gorgeous book shelf we found on a local sell and seek site. However, I’ve decided against it for the time being and I’m hopefully going to make the wood work in the office space. Anyway, I used that paint to upcycle the bedside tables. We’ll use them now in the flat and take them with us to the house for the guest bedroom. I bought the gorgeous handles from Anthropologie. You can find them here if you wish! I fell in love with another handle.. as far as falling in love with handles go.. but unfortunately they weren’t available until September and it wouldn’t let me pre-order for some reason. You can see the handles I wish I had bought here. Anyway, enjoy your day! Speak soon, L.
