I cannot wait to get rid of this turquoise blue. Josh sawed the old drain down and we removed the outside light. Still undecided on what lights to go for for the back door… Maybe I’ll do some researching this evening!

Lunch at the Black Bull Hotel. Soup and a sandwich cost us £7.50 and it was delicious!

Ah, sunset from our attic and again from our walk back to the flat. It’s a new moon too which means you must turn your purse over for good luck and you mustn’t look at the moon through a window before hand! So my Gran tells me..

Knocking through the lath and plaster from the attic in to the walk in wardrobe. Much easier than getting shit in your hair!

So pretty! Sedbergh looks so beautiful at Christmas with all the shops fairy lights and Christmas tree lights.

It’s been a while since a house update and although we had planned on getting lots done today, we ended up staying in bed until late morning watching Witcher and then made mushrooms on toast, my absolute favourite breakfast, before heading to the house at 12pm and starting work. Then shortly after our friends Molly and Shaun arrived, so we ended up talking through the whole house process with them and then we decided to go for a bite to eat at our local pub. As soon as we knew it, it was 4pm, so we did a bit of ripping out and de-nailing the joists but decided to call it a night. I mean, it is Christmas after all! Now we are home, Josh is on COD (as per usual) and that’s us in for the night. I actually need to go through my outfit choices for New Years Day and I might, just might treat myself to something new.. we will see about that though. I also need to find myself a suitable diary for 2020 cause I’m itching to get my plans written down for the year ahead. Any recommendations on where to buy one from? Anyway, speak soon, L.
