The light on Saturday evening was just beautiful. What a sunset! Truly grateful to live in such a beautiful part of the world.

We found a heavily pregnant sheep on it's back today, so my Dad helped it up and back on its feet. Poor thing!

Just the most gorgeous day. So quiet, warm and tranquil.

Snow drops are just so beautiful and delicate little flowers. I love this time of year when they all come out again.

So many walks with Erik, of course. I love that I have to get up and out every morning, every lunch time and every evening. I've never walked so much in my life but I don't feel any fitter for it, haha!

Last night we enjoyed an M&S dine in for £10. I chose the beef bourguignon, triple cooked chips and sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding was probably the best STP I've ever had. It was the gastro pub one and it had pecan nuts decorating the top of it. Delicious with some English Lakes ice cream (Thunder and Lightening). Ps. The Trivento Malbec is on offer for £6 in Asda. It's usually £8 and it's one of my favourites!

Erik spent most of the evening in front of the fire but when he realised there wasn't any space on the sofa for him, he climbed over the back of the sofa and on top of the cushions!
The end of February and it's already beginning to feel a little Spring-like, my most favourite time of the year! We did have a few wet days but this weekend has well and truly lifted my spirits and I'm feeling hopeful to a *fairly* normal Summer. We went on a long morning walk before brunch this morning, over the Howgills and back home to a good old fry up. I love these kind of Sundays, morning walks in the sunshine, a little fry up treat and a relaxing morning before working again on the house. Josh started boarding the last wall in the attic today, which is going to be plastered tomorrow. Then all we need is a door and the attic is pretty much there! I gave the kitchen and living room a good clean and swept up all the dog hair! I cannot believe how much there was, it's like we are living with a Persian cat, not a short haired German pointer! Well, time to enjoy the rest of my Sunday with a cup of tea and Netflix, so I can hopefully get up early enough for a run with my brother, Alex. Speak soon, L.
